    Description

    Overview:

    The Entry-Level Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing basic support in day-to-day accounting operations. This role performs routine tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and assisting with financial record keeping to help maintain accurate and organized business accounts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.

    + Enter data into accounting systems quickly and accurately.

    + Reconcile simple accounts and review transactions for errors.

    + Assist with filing and maintaining financial records.

    + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

    + Help prepare reports and spreadsheets as requested by the accounting team.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Skills:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; some coursework in accounting preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

    + Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
