    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

    POSITION:Kniferoom Attendant

    DEPARTMENT:Purchasing

     

    SALARY CLASS:Non Exempt

    Principle Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for maintaining the Knife room / storeroom area in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.

    + Responsible for collecting, and redistributing supplies to employees.

    + Sharpening, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining all knives.

    + Provide backup for Store Room Attendant.

    + Perform various duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    + Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skills. (Bilingual skills helpful)

    + Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

    + Ability to handle multiple priorities.

    + Ability to work under pressure.

    + Great customer service skills.

    + High School degree or equivalent required

    + Good attendance record (Less than 3 points, for internal candidates)
