Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a nonprofit founded in 1943, has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year.
We are seeking a Clinical Social Worker to join our team at our DSS Yonkers satellite office. This is a full-time position with a compensation range of $65,000-$75,000/year. We offer a compressed scheduled, with workdays from Monday through Wednesday 8:15-6:15, and Thursdays 8:15-5:15. Additionally, a hybrid schedule is currently available based on program needs.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Providing comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, referrals and linkages, as well as case coordination and treatment services to clients referred by DSS.
+ Delivering mental health treatment in various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
+ Working in partnership with DSS workers, providing consultation, guidance, and advocacy related to mental health needs.
+ Conducting thorough intake assessments and developing written treatment plans with clients in compliance with OMH regulations.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
+ A Master’s Degree in Social Work and New York State LMSW licensure required.
+ Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.
+ Excellent knowledge of available community resources.
+ Collaborative, organized, and adaptable professional who values continuous learning and teamwork.
+ Outstanding clinical, assessment, and diagnostic skills.
