I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO .This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

+ Analyze, design, develop, and integrate future-capability prototypes for program including Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development and other critical leading-edge missile defense technologies

+ Interface with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards and improve overall efficiency of the system

+ Design, code, test and implement tools for automation

+ Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation

+ Interact with other people using good verbal and written communication skills

+ Work independently or with a small group

+ Provide in-depth analysis and technical support of a large, distributed system written in Java

+ Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user-support for a large code baseline

+ Follow specifications in order to develop or modify functionality within the code

+ Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation

Qualifications

+ Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent

+ Bachelors Degree in STEM

+ Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred

+ IAT Level II certification

+ Experience with Java and spring framework

+ Experience with the Linux environment

+ Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools

+ Basic Systems Engineering understanding to drive software designSoftware development with Java (or other object-oriented language)

+ Object-Oriented development principles and patternsGenerate detailed and repeatable tests

+ Must possess an understanding of Agile software development processes and principles and be able to communicate the desired capabilities to a diverse group of developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and system users

+ Should be comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges that require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines

+ Application deployment, integration, and troubleshootingOperating systems experience with Windows

+ Unix/LinuxExperience with the following: Eclipse IDE, Maven, and Git/GitLab, Python, Ansible

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
