    Position Summary

    The Associate Director of Market Access Excellence will play a pivotal role in elevating the capabilities of the U.S. Market Access team through strategic training, development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. This individual will act as a **connector and integrator** between U.S. Market Access and Sanofi’s global and local learning resources, ensuring alignment, consistency, and best-in-class practices across the organization.

     

    This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, capability building, and stakeholder engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Training Strategy & Development

    + Design and implement a comprehensive Market Access training curriculum tailored to U.S. needs, leveraging global and local resources.

    + Identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning programs to enhance technical, strategic, and leadership capabilities within the Market Access team.

    + Partner with internal subject matter experts and external vendors to deliver high-impact training sessions, workshops, and e-learning modules.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    + Serve as the primary liaison between U.S. Market Access and Sanofi’s Go to Market Capabilities (GTMC) and Learning & Development teams, ensuring seamless integration of global frameworks and tools.

    + Select and leverage existing Sanofi programs for talent development, leadership development and skill building to enhance skills within the US Market Access Organization

    + Connect US Market Access with external industry programming to enhance understanding of changes in the healthcare landscape that impacts Sanofi and our patients

    + Partner closely with Access Strategy and Account Teams to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions

    + Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Sales Training to ensure consistent messaging and approach

    + Work with compliance to ensure all training materials and programs adhere to industry regulations and company policies

    Content Development & Delivery

    + Orchestrate comprehensive training programs including live and virtual sessions, e-learning modules, external industry sessions and manage product training calendar in collaboration with Access Strategy leads

    + Develop strategy for learning, leveraging latest innovations and standards

    + Ensure learning is connected to business needs and required skills

    + Collaborate effectively with internal training teams to bring the most relevant programming to US Market Access

    + Implement blended learning approaches to accommodate different learning styles and operational constraints

    + Maintain and update training content to reflect changes in the healthcare landscape, payer policies, and company strategies

    + Deliver operational, logistical, and event management support for live training sessions

    + Ensure smooth delivery of learning solutions and positive learner experience

    + Communicate clear learning expectations, ensure existing resources are clear and easy to find and connect the team consistently to external resources

    + Continuously improve efficiency to meet learning and learner experience need balanced against job requirements

    + Facilitate live training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises as needed

    Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement

    + Establish KPIs to measure training effectiveness and impact on team performance.

    + Continuously assess and refine programs based on feedback, evolving market dynamics, and business needs.

    + Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate innovative learning methodologies (e.g., digital platforms, experiential learning).

    Qualifications & Requirements

    + Minimum 3 years in a Regional Account Manager or National Account Manager roles

    + Minimum 3 years in a training/learning & development role

    + Experience with payer marketing, market access strategies, and healthcare reimbursement models

    + Demonstrated success in developing and delivering effective training programs

    Education

    + Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or related field

    + Master's degree in relevant field preferred

    + Training certifications (e.g., CPTM, ATD) a plus

    Skills & Competencies

    + Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare system, payer landscape, and market access dynamics.

    + Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques for educating on complex business models.- Strong instructional design skills and familiarity with adult learning principles

    + Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

    + Proficiency with learning management systems and digital training tools

    + Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

    + Project management expertise with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

    + Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation

    + Collaborative mindset with ability to influence without direct authority

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry

    + Knowledge of specialty pharmacy distribution models

    + Experience with live and virtual training delivery methods

    + Background in account management or field-based market access roles

    The salary range for this position is:

    $125,250.00 - $180,916.66

     

    All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
