Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders. This position is basically waiter work, with fewer procedure requirements than those involved in positions in restaurant, cafe or bar operations. Involved in setting up and breaking down banquet settings and replenishing beverages. Receives close supervision and guidance. Complies with proper procedures, methods, dress and hygiene codes. Ability to follow simple oral and written instruction and an understanding of sanitary food and beverage handling techniques and an understanding of food preparation methods of food items. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must meet the state/local age (18 years old) requirement for the serving of alcoholic beverages. No prior training or work experience required. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
