Department highlights:
+ Active Unit Based Council
+ Tenor Staff with a longest Team having been here 30 plus years
+ Nursing Support Staff have their own Monthly Meeting with Nurse Manager
+ Cross Team Functionality with other departments
Here's What You Need
+ H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
+ No experience is required and
+ Hospital experience is preferred
+ BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required And
+ CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required
+ High degree of confidentiality, patience and positive interpersonal sills
What You Will Do
+ Stays in room, as appropriate, and watches patient at all times.
+ Collects data on patient's activities/verbalization as requested and reports findings to nurse.
+ Reports any unusual verbal or physical activities via call bell, emergency call bell, or Vocera.
+ Attends training and education appropriate to care setting and practice
+ Takes action to protect patient rights and/or preferences.
