Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory / MRP Specialist to manage and organize our component storage room, support system implementation, and ensure accurate inventory tracking. This role is ideal for someone with strong computer skills and a passion for process improvement. You will play a key role in transitioning operations to CETEC, maintaining accurate part numbers, and supporting purchasing and inventory management functions as the role grows.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and organize the storage room for small components.
+ Receive incoming components, verify accuracy, and prepare them for assembly at third-party manufacturing facilities.
+ Track inventory levels and ensure proper documentation.
+ Manage part numbers and maintain consistency across systems.
+ Assist in migrating data from Excel to CETEC.
+ Ensure accurate setup of part numbers and inventory data in the new system.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve ERP/MRP-related issues during implementation.
+ Prepare and package components.
+ Collaborate with purchasing to support inventory control and replenishment.
+ Generate reports and maintain accurate records using Excel and related tools.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (2–3 years of experience preferred, CETEC experience is a plus).
+ Strong computer proficiency, including Excel (data entry, formulas, pivot tables).
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
+ Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain preferred.
+ ITAR Compliant.
+ College graduate with internship work within ERP/MRP looking to jumpstart their career in the space industry.
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite with core hours from 10 AM to 3 PM. The work environment consists of a smaller facility with 35 people, focusing on R&D work on prototypes. All manufacturing is done through third-party contracting, and the storage room serves as the 'warehouse' for small components. The role requires flexibility, a proactive attitude, and the ability to wear many hats in a dynamic setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
