    Job Description:

    Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help them grow their business.

     

    At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are looking for an outgoing Relationship Manager to help our customer foster strong relationships with internal clients for IT security services. The relationship manager’s responsibilities include seeking out new business opportunities, providing clients with knowledgeable advice, guiding their choices, promptly resolving complaints, and ensure client satisfaction. To be successful as a relationship manager you should be able to build positive, long-term relationships and support clients in the decision making process by identifying solutions that most closely meet their needs.

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    Maintaining a deep knowledge of company products and services.

     

    Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

     

    Researching and pursuing new business opportunities.

     

    Identifying clients' needs and requirements and proposing suitable solutions.

     

    Providing clients with comprehensive product/service consultations and guiding their decision-making process.

     

    Bridge the gaps between GDIT, customer, and COV Executive Agencies to improve efficiency/ communication and build trust.

     

    Upselling and cross-selling products/services to clients.

     

    Resolving complaints and issues efficiently and in a timely manner.

     

    Meeting sales/revenue targets.

     

    Ensuring client satisfaction.

     

    Contribute to strategic planning sessions to align pipeline activities with new and improved security services for program growth.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    Degree in management, marketing, communication, or a similar field is preferred.

     

    10+ years of work experience including prior roles in customer success/enablement, supply chain or vendor relations, and/or account management in the IT sector.

     

    Experience as a relationship manager, in customer service, or a similar role.

     

    Ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships.

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

     

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

     

    Leadership and team management skills.

     

    Customer-oriented.

     

    Understanding of Information Security/Cyber security services.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    Excellent communication skills

     

    Timeline: Expected to start in February 2026.

    The likely salary range for this position is $127,254 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
