Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full-time experience working in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience with data analysis. Experience working with computer software such as Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Four (4) or more years of full-time experience working in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience compiling and analyzing data. Experience working in a healthcare environment. Experience with project management. Experience benchmarking, providing productivity metrics, and fair market value (FMV) assessments.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Faculty Data Analyst is a critical role that will support the clinical functions across the Renaissance School of Medicine. This is a hands-on position reporting into the Office of Faculty Personnel that will provide analytical support, consultation, and project leadership in the implementation, and management of faculty and provider compensation programs. The position will work closely with department leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant compensation structures.
Duties:
+ Conduct advanced data analysis to support faculty and provider compensation decisions, including benchmarking, productivity metrics, and fair market value (FMV) assessments.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders such as Central HR and department leadership to ensure compensation practices are aligned with organizational goals and HR and Class & Comp policies.
+ Provide data and consultation for actions such as new hire market assessments, promotions, annual compensations reviews, and compensation planning.
+ Develop dashboards, scorecards, and high-performance reports using tools such as Excel.
+ Maintain and enhance compensation databases, reporting tools, and associated documentation.
+ Prepare clear, insightful presentations and data visualizations that communicate compensation trends and outcomes to senior executives and other stakeholders.
+ Support projects involving compensation modeling, incentive plan design, and regulatory compliance efforts.
+ Analyze trends and emerging market practices to proactively adjust and optimize compensation strategies.
+ Document compensation business logic, assumptions, and analytical methodologies for internal reporting and audit readiness.
+ Other duties as assigned.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
