    E&I Technician

    Smurfit Westrock Sawmill in Cottonton Al is looking to fill an open position for an E&I Technician, we are looking for someone who can meet the following requirements:

    * 3-5 years industrial E&I experience or

    * 2-4 years industrial E&I certificate/diploma from accredited school

    * Ability to work safely / understands Lock out / Tag out

    * Ability to interpret electrical and instrumentation schematics and drawings

    * Ability to use electrical test equipment, multi meter, megger, amp probe

    * Good understanding of PLCs and ladder logic

    * Trouble shoot electrical issues independently

    * Familiar with 480v 3 phase motor starters

    * Ability to trouble shoot 240v, 120v, and 24v circuits

    * Good understanding of hydraulic systems and the ability to troubleshoot

    * Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives

    * Available to work overtime and 3rd shift

    * Pass written testing requirements

    * High School Diploma or GED
