Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain machine learning models to improve Skylar’s automation and analytics capabilities. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to identify opportunities to enhance the product using machine learning. - Build and optimize scalable data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Go Lang and/or Python for ML model integration and backend services. - Implement and monitor machine learning workflows to ensure robust performance and address challenges like model drift. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to real-world use cases. - Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards in all machine learning applications. - Convert data science prototypes into production-ready models. - Develop and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines (data ingestion → model training → deployment → monitoring). - Implement model versioning, feature engineering, and model serving APIs. - Work closely with data engineers (for data quality) and DevOps/MLOps engineers (for deployment & scaling). - Optimize training performance (e.g., distributed training, hyperparameter tuning). Typical Skills: - Strong in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. - Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with data version control (DVC) and feature stores. ________________________________________ Qualifications Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing machine learning solutions. • Proficiency in Go Lang and/or Python with a proven ability to write efficient, production-ready code. • Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). • Experience with data processing and pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Airflow, or similar). • Familiarity with deploying machine learning models using cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of microservices architecture and API development. • Experience with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines). • Understanding of time series data and its application in machine learning. • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
