Job Title: Hydro Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $58.00 - $61.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is currently seeking a Hydro Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.

Hydro Engineer Responsibilities:

+ Support hydro plant projects due to internal reorganization

+ Will work approximately 10 projects per year across 25 hydro facilities (primarily in WI one in MN)

+ Develop bid/design specifications

+ Coordinate projects from initiation through closeout

+ Work with Hydro plant management and contractors

+ Travel required to hydro sites (seasonal: summer/fall for construction; winter/spring for design/closeout)

+ 20-30% travel to sites mostly summer/fall seasons

Hydro Engineer Requirements:

+ Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical Controls or Civil/Structural) from ABET accredited university

+ Valid Drivers License

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office

+ FE/EIT certification preferred

+ PE License is a plus

+ PMP certification or project management background preferred

+ SAP

+ Scheduling tools preferred

+ Minimum of 2 years engineering experience

+ Hydro or industrial experience strongly preferred

+ Hydro familiarity (6+ months) is a plus
