Job Title: Tissue Converting Technical Specialist
Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Type: Contract Overview
This role provides expert technical support for Core Machine, Tissue Classic Embosser Laminator, and Tissue Classic Winder operations across multiple manufacturing sites. The position combines remote troubleshooting with on-site visits to drive loss elimination, improve equipment performance, and build capability in key operating systems. The specialist delivers hands-on coaching, training, and technical guidance to elevate converting performance across all assigned locations.
Responsibilities
+ Provide remote and on-site technical support for Core Machine, Tissue Classic Embosser Laminator, and Tissue Classic Winder systems.
+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and lead loss elimination activities.
+ Conduct in-plant visits across all designated sites while adhering to required PPE and safety practices.
+ Coach and train site teams through hands-on instruction and operational guidance.
+ Build capability across CPE, CIL, CL, TBO, DH, ECR, and related systems.
+ Identify equipment defects and drive corrective actions.
+ Support accurate equipment setup, including CPE and centerlines.
Qualifications Must-Have
+ 10+ years of Classic (Center Winder) Tissue Converting experience.
+ Technical expertise with Core Machine, Embosser Laminator, and Tissue Classic Winder equipment.
+ Proficiency in technically accurate setup, including CPE and centerlines.
+ Strong troubleshooting and loss-elimination skills.
+ Ability to identify equipment defects and lead resolution activities.
+ Ability to train others through classroom or hands-on methods.
+ Ability to meet converting essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Nice-to-Have
+ Familiarity with ECRs and ability to recommend ECRs linked to losses.
+ 15–20+ years of Classic Tissue Converting experience.
+ Knowledge of GTC TPS.
+ Experience supporting projects, upgrades, and readiness activities.
