Principal Accountabilities

+ Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and stretch wrap machines

+ Supply materials as necessary to own area as well as other areas

+ Unloading, loading, and stacking materials onto or off trucks, pallets, skids, or lifting devices, and controlling inventory to meet both internal and external customer needs

+ Follow written or oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

+ Make simple adjustments or repairs, maintenance, and lubrication of trucks.

+ Open communication with peers and management to promote a teamwork-focused environment as well as developing

+ Capable of all platform labor duties

+ Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

+ Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

+ Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

+ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

+ Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

+ Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

+ Basic use of a computer

+ Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

+ Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

+ Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation

+ Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications

+ Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems

+ Experience working in a production-related work

+ High school diploma/GED equivalent

+ Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
