Behavior Technician – Support Student Success Across Los Angeles County

Amergis is seeking experienced Behavior Technicians to join our school-based teams throughout Los Angeles County. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in ABA and pediatric behavioral support who are committed to fostering structured, inclusive, and encouraging learning environments.

Position Details

+ Pay Range: $24–$27/hour (Pay is based off of experience but is negotiable!)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

+ Location: School sites across Los Angeles County

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide direct support to students with behavioral and developmental needs in classroom settings

+ Implement individualized education and behavior intervention plans with fidelity

+ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists to ensure consistent support

+ Promote a calm, inclusive, and structured learning environment

+ Reinforce positive behaviors and support students’ social-emotional development

Qualifications (Required)

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and/or pediatric behavioral support

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
