Amergis Staffing is currently seeking a 1:1 School Nurse (LVN/LPN)for the 2025-2026 school year in National City, CA.
Position Details:
Pay: $30-35/hour depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP, upon completion on onboarding
Hours Per Week: 30 hours
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Length: 2025-2026 School Year
Requirements: Must have CA LVN/LPN license and aCPR/BLS certificate; at least 1 year of nursing experience required, in-school/pediatricexperience preferred
Additional Details: This LVN will be working 1:1 with a student that requires catheterizations, g-tube feeding, and toileting.

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN is responsible for identifying andaddressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This roleincludes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supportingdisease prevention efforts. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student’s physicalcondition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcareresources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the SchoolLPN/LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state educationcodes.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
+ Current LPN/LVN license in the state which services arebeing provided
+ One year of school nurse experience, preferred
+ One-year pediatric experience, pre
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
