Role Overview

As an Early Childhood Teacher in Wisconsin’s 4K program, you will implement daily instructional plans, maintain a classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth, and build strong rapport with students while collaborating with administrators and fellow educators. Wisconsin’s 4K program is a free, voluntary, public-school-based initiative for 4-year-olds designed to prepare them for elementary school. These programs emphasize social, emotional, and early academic development, following the state’s early learning standards—giving you the opportunity to help children build a strong foundation for lifelong success.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (required)

+ Current DPI certification (required)

+ Experience teaching early childhood education

+ Strong classroom management and communication skills
