    Description and Requirements

     

    The Retail Service Stocker is responsible for ensuring grocery store shelves are fully stocked, organized, and aligned with retailer shelf tag protocols. This role maintains product availability, assists with merchandising and product placement, monitors inventory levels, and communicates store conditions and updates to management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while supporting team goals.

    What will you do?

     

    + Stock and merchandise client-supplied products throughout assigned stores.

    + Maintain and refresh displays to ensure proper product placement and presentation.

    + Assist with stocking, rotation, and positioning of products according to retailer and client guidelines.

    + Monitor inventory levels and update stock totals accurately.

    + Participate in training programs on stocking practices and client impact guidelines.

    + Communicate store conditions, maintenance issues, and client impact guidelines.

    + Work collaboratively in a team environment to complete daily objectives.

    + Follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    + Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    + Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

    + Ability to follow schematic instructions and execute tasks thoroughly.

    + Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to completing tasks correctly.

    + Physical capability to carry 20 lbs and lift or move up to 50 lbs consistently.

    + Ability to adapt to changing priorities and day-to-day activities in a retail environment.

    **Experience and Qualifications** :

    + High school diploma/GED required.

    + Prior experience in grocery, stocking, inventory, or merchandising preferred.

    + Independent and self-directed with strong attention to detail.

    + Comfortable working in both office/store environments and outdoor weather conditions.

    + Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and travel as required.

    **Work Environment and Physical Requirements** :

    + Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and carry up to 20 lbs.

    + Frequent standing, walking, and climbing.

    + Work performed in both typical store environments and outdoor weather conditions.

    + Noise levels may vary from low to high.

    + Must maintain good attendance and safe work practices.
