    POSITION:English as a New Language (ENL) Teacher, Substitute

     

    EFFECTIVE DATE: November 2025 - end date TBD

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    The ENL teacher will be responsible for guiding English Language Learners toward gaining proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. This entails working closely with classroom teachers in a co-teacher role as well as providing pull-out services for those students who require it. The successful candidate will be expected to build strong and positive relationships with students and families while engaging collaboratively with colleagues in the district.

     

    CERTIFICATION: NYS Certification in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)

     

    COMPENSATION: Per diem substitute daily rate
