Description - Travel opportunity for 8 months -

Client is seeking a **Senior Cyber Engineer** to ensure the cybersecurity of shipboard C5ISR systems by developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity plans and auditing security measures throughout the system lifecycle of client program.

Work is performed on site in Pascagoula, MS, but client will travel candidate out for this 8 month project/ will receive per diem.

Duties:

+ Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity plan for shipboard C5ISR systems

+ Conduct cybersecurity audits and maintain security requirements through system trials

+ Support the review of the cyber security design and integration

+ Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, contract requirements, and best practices

+ Cyber Security Plan, including the Contractor’s efforts to maintain and audit Cyber Security Requirements .

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

+ Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related field

+ Five (5) years extensive knowledge of shipboard C5ISR systems and architecture

+ Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles and standards

+ Proficiency in developing and implementing cybersecurity plans

+ Strong analytical skills for cybersecurity audits and reviews

+ Understanding of shipboard C5ISR systems and cybersecurity requirements

+ Knowledge of and experience with evaluating networking functional requirements

+ Excellent communication and coordination abilities

+ Experience supporting projects in a Shipyard environment

Required Clearance:

+ Active Secret Clearance

Required Certification:

+ Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Level II - Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP - _Or must be willing to obtain/pass certification within 90 days of hire_

Position Details:

+ Pay Rate / Range:___47.69-57.69___________________
