    **Waste Connections** is hiring a **Class A Tractor-Trailer Driver** at **Murrey’s Disposal in Fife, WA** .     Pay and Schedule

    + **Starting Pay:** $35.50 per hour

    + **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, starting between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with regular overtime and Saturdays as needed.

     

    About the Role

     

    This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy a physically active job and want to work for a company that prioritizes safety and growth. Responsibilities include:

     

    + Safely operating tractor-trailer units on assigned routes to haul solid waste and containers

    + Frequent entry and exit from the cab throughout the day

    + Securing loads and performing your own tarping

    + Conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections

    + Reading and following route sheets; servicing all assigned customers

    + Hauling containers to designated dump or swap locations

    + Delivering professional and courteous service at every stop

    Physical and Environmental Conditions

    + Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling—objects over 50 lbs.

    + Exposure to outdoor weather conditions year-round

    + Work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise

    + Strict adherence to safety protocols

    Minimum Requirements

    + Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement

    + Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

    + At least 2 years of relevant driving experience

    + Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections

    + SAFETY SENSITIVE - YES
