    Job Summary

    The **_Senior Event Sales Manager_** oversees event sales for a pair of luxury, design-driven restaurants and iconic event venues. This role leads all revenue-generating strategies, manages high-profile client relationships, and owns the full event sales cycle from inquiry through execution. The ideal candidate brings experience overseeing a $5 million+ annual book of business, with a proven ability to close large-scale corporate, social, cultural, and lifestyle events in high-end hospitality environments.

     

    **Compensation:** This is a commission-based role with a competitive base salary ranging from $105,000 to $115,000, plus commission opportunities that can bring your total compensation upwards of $250,000 or more, based on performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead all event sales efforts across two flagship properties, including outreach, client development, site visits, tastings, proposals, negotiation, and closing.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with planners, agencies, corporate partners, and luxury lifestyle clients to drive new and repeat business.

    + Create customized proposals, contracts, event packages, and BEOs aligned with each venue’s culinary program, service style, and brand identity.

    + Partner closely with culinary, beverage, marketing, and operations teams to ensure premium, seamless execution of all events.

    + Manage sales forecasts, revenue targets, budgets, and pipeline reporting across both venues.

    + Collaborate with chefs and operations leaders on menu planning, costing, staffing, floor plans, and AV/production needs.

    + Maintain accurate CRM documentation including outreach activities, client notes, pipeline status, and revenue tracking.

    + Represent both venues through polished site tours, presentations, tastings, and industry networking events.

    + Ensure all client touchpoints reflect the elevated, luxury experience of the properties.

    + Support brand visibility through partnerships, influencer opportunities, and special projects.

    + Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and company standards.

    + Lead cross-venue initiatives that enhance the guest experience and drive overall revenue growth.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Demonstrated ability to manage and grow an annual book of business of $5 million or more.

    + 5+ years of event sales or catering sales experience within luxury hospitality, fine dining, or high-end event environments.

    + Strong history of building long-term client relationships and consistently exceeding sales goals.

    + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and proposal-writing abilities.

    + Ability to partner with culinary and operations leaders on menu development, logistics, and detailed event execution.

    + Familiarity with AV/production requirements and the ability to support event setup and breakdown as needed.

    + High-level proficiency with CRM tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    + Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage several high-touch events at once.

    + Solutions-oriented, professional, and comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic environment.
