UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our highly skilled IR team! Work a daylight Monday-Friday schedule with rotating evenings, weekends, holidays, and holiday call coverage. A 30-minute response time is required during call shifts.

What You'll Do

+ Administer contrast under protocol and support physicians during interventional procedures.

+ Demonstrate expert positioning and radiographic techniques for a wide range of IR exams.

+ Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging.

+ Document patient information in the electronic medical record with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Ensure all studies are properly coded, tracked, archived, and charged within RIS and ISITE systems.

+ Collaborate seamlessly with IR colleagues and other departments to expedite patient care.

+ Provide support for general radiographic procedures when needed.

+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.

+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
