Job Description

For $68/hr, as a Production Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and availability of the Global Risk Analytics suite of applications that underpin the bank’s risk management processes. You will work closely with risk managers, application developers, and technology partners to maintain and optimize production environments. Your responsibilities will include monitoring application health and performing readiness checks across multiple critical systems, overseeing batch processes through Autosys to ensure timely completion, and responding to user queries and production incidents with urgency and precision. You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, manage capacity, and support the release process by handling deployments, configurations, and post-release QA analysis. Additionally, you will document all procedures and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless operations in a highly regulated and data-intensive environment.

Skills and Requirements

- 3-4+ years providing Production and Application Support in enterprise environments

- Strong experience in Linux/Unix systems

- Python-based applications and scripting (Python or Shell)

- Oracle database experience

- Familiarity with Autosys for batch process monitoring - Hadoop and/or Cloudera experience

- Exposure to Spectrum Grid and large-scale data analytics

- Knowledge of ITRS Geneos or similar monitoring tools

- Financial services or risk analytics background
