Job Description
The Operations, Quality and Program Excellence Functional Area (FA) Business Systems Analyst will be an engaged member of the IT & Security Business Partner team, providing support to IT plans, projects, and service delivery support to achieve integrated business plans. This individual is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships across stakeholder organizations to deliver timely solutions and efficient services to meet explicit and implicit needs of the business. The IT Business Systems Analyst will report to the Operations, Quality, and Program Excellence IT Business Partner, who is a member of these Functional Area leadership teams. Qualified candidates should have competencies in business acumen, IT and Security service delivery, technology advancement, collaboration, and communications.
Specific responsibilities include:
+ Reports to theOperations, Quality, and Program Excellence IT Business Partnerproviding support to IT plans, projects, and service delivery support to achieve integrated business plans.
+ Participates in development of FA strategic plans and supports associated IT strategic planning
+ Understands market directions and challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues
+ Engages business stakeholders to understand IT requirements and priorities
+ Provides early forecasting of high-level future business directions to IT & Security functional counterparts and relevant IT service centers
+ Communicates business needs with appropriate IT solution centers to gain alignment between business needs and outcomes
+ Denes, prioritizes, and represents IT related program and project initiatives for the function
+ Gathers detailed business requirements and denes scope by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with partners
+ Ensures accurate representation and integration of functional stakeholders to major IT projects
+ Identifies IT & Security functional challenges and supports continuous improvement initiatives
+ Promotes cybersecurity compliance without significant impact to business operations
+ Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and forms recommendations for implementing new/upgraded systems, technologies and/or processes in the IT and or Security domains ensuring compliant and modernized capabilities are deployed
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 6 or more years of relevant experience related to the position ( with a Bachelors Degree ) or 8 or more years of related experience and a high school diploma.
+ Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
+ Ability to work across multiple functions / organizations and build trusted working relationships
+ Business acumen and working level experience in support of business operations
+ Knowledge of IT industry standard service delivery, operations, processes, standards, tools, and capabilities with a focus on infrastructure and project management
+ Track record of developing and implementing IT system, people, and process enhancements to improve business performance
+ Willingness to learn and acquire new skills and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing technology and security environment
+ Demonstrated record of managing internal and external (supplier) stakeholders
+ Acumen in operational planning, project management, business finance, and IT Service Delivery
+ Strong written, verbal and presentation skills ability to communicate effectively at leadership levels with a focus on delivering value and business outcomes
+ Self-directed, proactive, detail oriented, and an ability to multi-task
+ Ability to handle conflict and resolve difficult situations
+ Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and integration; both classified and unclassified
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in related field
+ Demonstrated record of capturing and developing business requirements to support the development of technical solutions
+ Background and knowledge of working in closed or classified environments
+ Program/Project Management and oversight
+ Ability to carry out data analytics to identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovation
+ Industry Specific standard certifications, i.e. Security and ITIL Foundations
+ Secret Clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
