    Job Description

    Compensation:

    $55/hr to $65/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contractor / Supervisor to lead energy isolation management for construction and commissioning projects. This role ensures compliance and safety for all aspects of energy isolation across large-scale campuses or projects. The position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to maintaining a culture of safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee and implement energy isolation programs and procedures.

     

    Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards.

     

    Provide technical guidance and support for lockout/tagout (LOTO) systems and electrical safety programs.

     

    Conduct daily activity briefs and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

     

    Audit and enforce compliance with established safety protocols and standards.

    Work Location:

    Onsite role (remote work not available).

     

    Authorized exceptions may apply for specific situations.

    Schedule:

    Typical day starts at approximately 7:00 AM.

     

    Flexibility for occasional extended hours may be required.

    Performance Measurement:

    Participation in daily activity briefs and weekly one-on-one meetings.

    Skills and Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    Experience:

    Proven background in data center construction and commissioning standards and practices.

     

    Ability to collaborate with teams and implement improvements.

     

    Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.

     

    Ability to audit and enforce compliance with safety protocols.

    Technical Expertise:

    Knowledge of electrical isolation techniques, grounding, and system redundancies.

     

    Familiarity with multi-source energy systems, switchgear, UPS systems, DC battery strings, and standby generators.

    Certifications:

    OSHA 30-Hour Training.

     

    NFPA 70e or NFPA CESC/P Certification.

    Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

    Minimum 6+ years of experience in electrical construction and commissioning.

     

    Ability to lead and manage safety programs effectively.

     

    Strong understanding of electrical systems and compliance standards.
