    Job Description

    An employer is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist (Hospital Collector) in California. This person will be responsible for the reimbursement of claims from various insurance companies for all facility claims. Must have strong knowledge of commercial and managed care contracts and have knowledge of current regulatory requirements to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years’ experience of hospital (facility) collections

     

    - Strong contracts knowledge (must be able to read and understand each contract)

     

    - Experience with high-dollar commercial managed care collections with a production of 40+ claims per day

     

    -Experience with UB04 forms

     

    - Strong experience with Excel and Epic

     

    - Must be technically savvy with strong wifi at home to be able to work remote
