Job Description
An Insight Global customer is seeking to hire a Controls Engineering Manager for a new facility. This person will be in charge of installing, maintaining, and improving all controls/automation tools with a team of 30-40 people. The facility is going to be a high-tech, high-volume, 24/7 facility so experience in similar environments is critical. Day to day responsibilities include managing MES controls engineers/supervisors, training development, leading automation solutions with data, shop floor processes and manufacturing software, reducing tool downtime through proactive maintenance, and project management. We can offer a salary of $127,700 to $182,000 for this role, but exact compensation may vary based on education or experience.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, robotics or similar.
At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing equipment controls engineering. Proven background in installing, maintaining and improving PLC controls, HMI servers/applications and robotics equipment in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of supervisor or management experience in high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environments.
Strong data analysis background such as pulling SQL queries, JMP, or utilizing data visualizing tools like Power BI.
Change management experience with methodologies such as Lean, Six-Sigma and Kaizen.
