    Job Description

    Day-to-Day:

    The BI Developer is responsible for building custom reports using SQL to access Clarity and Caboodle databases. This role involves creating custom relational logic to meet user requirements and selecting the most effective BI delivery methods to address business needs. The BI Developer collaborates closely with Database and ETL Administrators to ensure data accuracy and maintain report integrity. Additionally, the position includes providing training and support to stakeholders and end users of reporting tools.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL tuning, and data extraction methodologies

     

    Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field

     

    2+ years of experience in healthcare

     

    2+ years of experience with Epic Cogito

     

    Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Experience with data warehouses Plusses:

    Epic certifications (preferred, but not required for hire; must be obtained within six months):

    Epic Caboodle Data Model

     

    Epic Clarity Data Model

     

    Additional Epic module or technology certifications
