Job Description
Our client is seeking to add a Maintenance Group Leader to their growing team to help with a new initiative. The Maintenance Group Leader oversees a team of skilled union hourly workers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and adherence to union agreements, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
• Lead and support maintenance operations across multiple tasks and priorities
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Drive accountability and performance through effective team leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and corporate policies
• Collaborate across departments to meet production goals
• Manage labor, inventory, and machinery usage efficiently
• Support electric and autonomous vehicle manufacturing initiatives

Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing a team as a maintenance supervisor before
- Experience working in a union environment/managing union employees
- Experience reading and understanding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
- Strong people management, conflict resolution, and ability to manage a team effectively - Experience in the automotive industry
