Job Requirements

+ A passion for helping seniors

+ A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.

+ Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written

+ Ability to work every other weekend

Job Responsibilities

+ Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintaining physical appearance of the grounds and building as well as ensuring that the building is physically sound and safe

+ Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service

+ Maintains preventive maintenance schedules

+ Assists with ordering and maintaining proper inventory levels of maintenance supplies

+ May act as contact person for vendors performing maintenance jobs

Qualifications

+ Ability to handle frequent lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and stretching.

+ Valid driver’s license in the state employed

+ A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
