Job Summary:
Directs and oversees South County Health’s safety programs. Develops and administers policies, programs, and procedures meant to protect employee, patient, and visitor health and safety, and/or promote regulatory and environmental compliance.
Reports to: Facilities & Performance Excellence Leader
Direct Reports: Security Staff
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education in Safety, Health, or Related Field like Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field-Professional Safety Certifications and 3-5 years' experience in ( Joint Commission OSHA / FEMA Training )
+ Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP)
+ Strong Knowledge of Healthcare Regulations & Standards,OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission, CMS, EPA regulations
+ Experience in Healthcare Safety or Risk Management
+ Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, emergency response, and staff training
