**Pay Rate:** $34 – $36.50 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled **Composite Technicians** to join our team in partnership with a global aerospace industry leader. In this hands-on role, you’ll help create high-performance composite components that power next-generation aircraft. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will ensure the strength, precision, and safety of every part that takes flight.

What You’ll Do

+ Lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond composite and metal fabrications, assemblies, and parts following detailed specifications.

+ Operate equipment such as **autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens** to complete bonding cycles.

+ Cut materials to size, sand, smooth, and apply sealing resins to ensure quality finishes.

+ Read and interpret **engineering drawings, work orders, and process documents** to perform accurate lay-ups and assemblies.

+ Use **precision measuring instruments** and shop math to verify compliance with engineering requirements.

+ Maintain tools and equipment certifications per procedure, and perform minor maintenance as needed.

+ Support continuous production flow by moving materials, assisting teammates, and performing cross-training.

+ Participate in ongoing training to become **qualified in advanced composite processes** and techniques.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

+ **5+ years of experience** in composite fabrication and lay-up work.

+ **Aerospace industry experience** is required.

+ Ability to **work any assigned shift** , including weekends when needed.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

+ Physical ability to **stand and perform hands-on work** for the full shift.

+ Ability to read blueprints and follow written or verbal work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with **precision bonding, autoclave operations** , and quality inspection processes.

+ Proven success working in **fast-paced manufacturing environments** with tight tolerances.

**Pay Details:** $34.00 to $36.50 per hour
