Unit Training Lead
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Unit Training Lead, are to:
+ Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that equip the sales force with the skills and competencies required to execute the enhanced U.S. Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and support key initiatives aligned with our 5-year strategic framework;
+ Expand training scope to include emerging technologies, with a focus on AI and digitally enabled tools, ensuring the sales team is proficient in leveraging these solutions to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency;
+ Assist in facilitating a centralized curriculum focused on business acumen, agronomic and product expertise, operational excellence, and effective selling techniques;
+ Serve as the training expert on various mission/working teams to achieve short, mid, and long-term goals aligned with key initiatives;
+ Draft and oversee the annual people development plan, manage the business unit training calendar, and monitor, track, and report progress against development goals;
+ Build consulting relationships and serve as a key influencer and coach within the business unit, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement;
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for individual people development needs; research, recommend, and implement training solutions tailored to the needs of the represented business units;
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning solutions that drive performance and enable business transformation;
+ Continuously assess training effectiveness and adapt programs to meet evolving business needs, market dynamics, and digital innovation;

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree;
+ Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 50%;
+ Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills;
+ Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design;
+ Knowledge of seeds, traits, and crop protection products;
+ Ability to build relationships quickly and establish credibility across diverse teams;
+ Experience managing people development plans and training calendars;
+ Exceptional project management and organizational skills;
+ Performance consulting and sales coaching experience;
+ Proven ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams;
+ Strong leadership, influence, and change management skills;
+ Demonstrated agility, proactiveness, and strategic thinking;
+ Engaging and creative presence with a learner-centric mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 3+ years field sales experience in an agricultural industry role;
+ Familiarity with AI tools and digital platforms used in commercial enablement;
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $104,591.20 - $156,886.80. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
