Responsibilities
+ Organizes study files, including data and correspondence files.
+ Performs scientific, medical and research literature searches and prepares slides for scientific presentations.
+ Coordinate meetings with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including planning, logistics, and follow up activities.
+ Prepare materials (talking points, presentations, background materials, leave behind documents) for meetings with internal and external technical audiences.
+ Work with ARX staff and CDC Antimicrobial Resistance (AR) subject matter experts to ensure coordination of AR activities management, analysis, and reporting.
+ Draft accurate technical reports on key milestones, activities, and strategies in support of ARX’s mission and goals.
+ Provide and/or coordinate timely responses to inquiries from internal CDC, external implementation, and other partners regarding AR laboratory capacity and testing methodologies.
+ Serve as technical monitor for review and support of Global AR Lab & Response Network workplans and ongoing activities.
+ Provide technical review and input on communication materials developed to support Global AR Lab & Response Network initiatives.
+ Work with ARX leadership to help coordinate with external partners and stakeholders and draft plans for collaborative laboratory strengthening activities.
+ Monitor data/information quality and disseminate data/information related to ARX Science Team activities to track organizational performance and facilitate evaluation of AR program impact.
+ Attend AR-related coordination meetings and team building activities as appropriate.
+ Attend meetings in relation to communication of antimicrobial resistance activities.
+ Attend CDC approved trainings required to learn new government systems to complete required tasks.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Requires a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, of which approximately (2) years must be specialized in the areas of public health, epidemiology, or scientific field.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, prioritization skills, ability to recognize client needs, exceptional organizational and collaboration skills, capable of taking direction and being adaptable to change, exceptional customer service orientation, attention to details and deadlines ensuring effective task management, be comfortable public speakers who can provide presentations and reports on their findings, and work well as part of a team.
