Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as an Operations Lead. In this critical role, you will oversee daily operations, troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive safe and efficient processes within our plant. You will act as a key liaison between production teams and management while leading efforts to maintain safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with significant experience in Steam Methane Reformer or Partial Oxidation Operations. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to oversee the safe startup, shutdown, and management of abnormal situations in the plant. Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and troubleshoot daily operation of 24/7 facility.

+ Expected to be able to engage any resource needed to handle safe startup, shutdown, and resolution of abnormal situations in the plant.

+ Provide operations input to prioritize work orders and partner with maintenance organization to complete jobs.

+ Complete understanding of concepts and regulations that govern procedures such as PSM (PHA, MOC, MI), RMP, and Environmental permits.

+ Help with shift scheduling when necessary.

+ Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed on time. This includes but is not limited to inspections, procedures, checklists, etc.

+ Communicate daily with the Production Technicians on the state of process and production strategies that has been delegated by the Production Superintendent.

+ Prioritize and assist maintenance with scheduling work orders and ensuring compliance with policy work orders (ACMS).

+ Communicate and inform the Production Superintendent of personnel issues and/or workflow issues.

+ Communicate and inform the Production Superintendent of issues with safety, reliability or efficiency.

+ Capability to lead safe shutdown and startup of the plant while maintaining a big picture perspective.

+ Ensures site always remains in compliance with all procedures.

+ The position requires shift relief responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

+ Minimum experience of 5 years in Steam Methane Reformer Operations and/or Partial Oxidation Operations or 10 years' experience in Process Operations required.

+ High level of communication skills to conduct training, mentoring, and qualification of operators (train the trainer if available)
