    Job description

Here, we craft excellence together. Your mission? Making the journey the most enjoyable part of the trip.

Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Project Engineer you'll play a pivotal part on our engineering team.

The Aftermarket Project Engineer 1 supports the execution of retrofit and modification programs related to aircraft interiors, primarily through Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects, sustaining engineering, and customer support initiatives. This position involves project planning, cross-functional coordination, engineering support, and risk management in compliance with FAA/EASA certification requirements.

    1. Actively contribute to STC retrofit and modification project teams, facilitating clear communication between engineering, certification, customer support, and production teams. Coordinate with line managers to allocate the appropriate technical resources and skillsets needed for project execution.

    2. Support the preparation of technical and financial proposals for STC and interior modification projects, providing engineering input for quotes and contributing to cost and schedule estimates aligned with aftermarket business objectives

    3. Ensure configuration control and documentation traceability by supporting the creation and maintenance of project reference systems (e.g., engineering drawing lists, ECR/ECOs, compliance checklists, FAA/EASA approvals) in accordance with airworthiness regulations.

    4. Develop and maintain project schedules and key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to aftermarket engineering activities, including engineering release timelines, certification deliverables, and customer support metrics.

    5. Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads by applying standardized project management practices (e.g., issue tracking, program dashboards, certification roadmaps) in alignment with regulatory and customer requirements

    6. Support technical decision-making for cabin interiors modifications, including material selection, part redesign, and engineering substantiation—working closely with design, certification, and production engineering teams.

    7. Proactively identify engineering and certification risks and opportunities, such as schedule delays, material lead time issues, or potential scope changes impacting STC deliverables and customer expectations.

    8. Participate in or support technical task forces to resolve roadblocks in sustaining engineering or in-service issues, including retrofit installation challenges and customer-reported cabin discrepancies.

    9. Contribute to program and engineering milestone reviews, providing input on readiness for PDRs, CDRs, conformity inspections, or installation support, ensuring aftermarket and in-service requirements are met.
