    Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

     

    We are looking for a creative problem solver and innovative thinker who is excited to learn to speak the language of creatives and clients, try new things and join a dynamic team.  If you love all things Entertainment, Lifestyle, Pop Culture, and creating marketing solutions for clients that entertain and our fans, this is the role for you. This position reports to a Senior Manager and also supports a Senior Director and Manager within the Development, NBCU’s Broadcast/ Prime + Peacock team.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF SALES MARKETING MATERIALS

    + Support and contribute to the development of multi-platform sales materials across NBCU Prime/Peacock series including show one sheets, customized marketing opportunities, show clips, pre-sale trackers, idea libraries, network rollouts, etc.

    + Assist on RFP and proactive marketing requests and marketing projects in execution by liaising with all appropriate internal groups including Sales Enablement, Network Leads, Production, Legal and Research

    + Attend and participate in team brainstorm meetings, to collaborate on designing innovative and compelling multi-platform brand programs – while gaining an understanding of NBCU's Prime/Peacock programming and capabilities

    POST-SALE AND CAMPAIGN SUPPORT

    + Support Managers and Directors through post-sale execution process and collaboration with editorial production/creative teams to create compelling content and fulfill client deliverables, including maintaining status documents, trackers, and timelines; handling clipping and recap organization; and occasional on-set execution attendance.

    + Liaise with production on the tracking, reviewing and coordination of branded products and materials

    + Stay abreast of, and update when needed, production/approval timelines

    + Manage the post-sell process (recap presentations, show clips, air checks and digital links and screenshots) to track program activation

    + Contribute to communication amongst internal, external and production stakeholders, including Commercial Operations, Planning, Legal, Production and Post-Production counterparts.

    MARKETPLACE INTEL + TEAM SUPPORT

    + Collaborate and keep team informed of competitive market, industry insights, ad sales marketplace trends and potential growth areas

    + Assist in organizationally driven team support, i.e. create meeting agendas, distribute meeting recap notes, update tracking systems (Monday.com, OneNote status) of RFP and activations

    + Administer invoice process and work directly with Ad Sales Finance to manage client billing for show partnerships

    + Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience

    + 1+ years of experience in marketing or ad sales at agency, client, media or production company – or applicable internship experience

    + Proven ability to collaborate across teams and specialties

    + Experience in digital solutions, new digital platforms and products highly desired

    + Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Monday.com and a working knowledge of SharePoint, Salesforce, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop

    + Solutions-oriented and independent thinker who can operate within a large organization i.e. Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

    + Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail

    + Excellent writing skills including presentation development

    + Familiar with tracking platforms such as (but not limited to) Monday.com and Salesforce

    + Highly innovative and motivated with positive outlook and team-oriented attitude; Open to change and feedback with a willingness to learn and grow

    + Preferred internship or experience with an advertising or creative agency, client and/or media publisher/production company

    + Understanding or awareness of advertising within all platforms of the lifestyle media space, including social media

     

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

     

    Salary range: $55,000 - $58,000 + overtime
