Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $15 - $17 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Kitchen Team Lead:

+ Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure food is prepared efficiently, safely, and in alignment with customer expectations

+ Support and guide kitchen staff, providing direction during rush periods and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the shift

+ Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and portion guidelines

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment by managing dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and monitoring equipment

+ Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring all team members follow proper handling, storage, and cleanliness procedures

+ Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality food delivery to service teams or customers

+ Assist with inventory monitoring, reporting low stock levels, and supporting ordering needs as requested

+ Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate concerns to management as needed to maintain service excellence

Job requirements:

+ 1 to 2 years of experience in a kitchen, food service, or culinary support environment

+ Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide and influence a team

+ Strong understanding of food safety standards, proper sanitation practices, and safe food handling

+ ServSafe certification recommended

+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
