The PWEL Asset Manager is an essential member of the PWEL organization whose primary responsibility is to manage PWEL Assets through all technical and maintenance processes to ensure the lease pool engine supply meets customer demand and financial goals.
What You Will Do:
+ The PWEL Asset Manager will be placed into the group based on the individual’s experience/experience and candidates individual goals and how they integrate into the PWEL technical team. PWEL Asset Managers are responsible for:
+ The lease return process to close out leases with operators and with 3rd Party Lessors
+ Managing the technical aspects of the lease start process with operators and 3rd Party Lessors
+ Directly managing the Near-wing maintenance with our suppliers: lease prep, lease returns, storage, repairs, inspections, SB updates, etc.
+ Co-managing MRO maintenance with PW/IAE Powerplant Engineers.
+ Managing engine configuration to ensure they meet contractual requirements of PW/IAE customers
+ Scheduling maintenance (MRO Network Team and PWEL Production Coordinator)
+ Managing Records with PWEL’s records vendors
+ Parts Management
+ Ensuring engines meet return
+ Coordinating with Finance to establish and maintain an annual budget
+ Initialing PO’s, credits associated with lease start and lease return.
+ Continues Improvement / Standard Work
+ The position will require the applicant to work with a broad range of departments across IAE/PW and external customers to accomplish the job functions. This role is a unique blend of technical, customer relationship and commercial disciplines.
What You Will Learn:
+ Candidate will learn to make strong connections throughout P&W/IAE to manage engines and projects to support P&W/IAE customers
+ Candidate will become a subject matter expert of PWEL’s leasing process (OEM) and gain a strong understanding of Lessor leasing process (non-OEM)
+ Candidate will become a subject matter expert regarding the technical aspects of asset management
+ Candidate become familiar managing engines through PW/IAE MRO network, PWEL’s Near-Wing network, and PWEL’s Records network
+ Candidate will gain a strong understanding of P&W/IAE’s technical systems (edata+) and PWELs asset management tools
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience in engine maintenance, airline operations or Engineering; OR and Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience in engine maintenance, airline operations or Engineering.
+ An understanding of Gas Turbine fundamental operating principles
+ An understanding of Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and Maintenance Manuals
+ Prior experience leading with influence to drive business and customer objectives.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Previous Airline experience
+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification
+ An in-depth knowledge of PW/IAE engines and understanding of components and performance characteristics
+ Strong communication skills: must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative situations and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills
+ Able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption
+ Ability to prioritize tasks when clarity of direction may be lacking
+ Capable of performing in a daily fast paced environment while simultaneously meeting assigned project deadlines with a self directed decision making confidence
+ Past involvement in creation of standard work for key processes
+ An understanding of FARs

This role is:
**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
