This is a temporary position.
The FLEX Senior Manager, GPMS-Opera will provide operational input, support, and PMS subject matter expertise to support designing, building, and execution of integrated property management systems. This position also plays an active role in supporting the future PMS strategy including providing input into testing, training, deployment, and support.
The core focus areas for this role are:
• Provide select service operational subject matter expertise for the Oracle PMS products
• Support PMS related change management materials, system integrations and deployment needs for Oracle PMS products.
• Operationalize requests and enhancements delivered through PMS
• Support Opera sustainment efforts for Opera V5.6
• Support Digital Technology Transformation efforts for Opera Cloud and growth.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
_Required_
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or other related field; OR a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge can be gained.
• 5+ years of hotel systems experience or other relevant experiences using Opera PMS
• Experience working with international teams and supporting global systems and operational processes.

+ Opera property management system experience
+ Hotel leadership experience
+ Experience with other Marriott Property Management Systems, including LSPMS, FSPMS, and FOSSE
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
+ Support sustainment efforts that impact Opera V5.6
+ Support new enhancements that impact Opera V5.6
+ Support Hotels, GT and support teams with process and business-related questions
+ Create and manage standard processes to support new tasks and organization
+ Cross collaboration with LightSpeed, FSPMS, and FOSSE property management systems
+ Support Digital Technology Transformation efforts
+ Work with Stakeholders of other disciplines to identify operational needs and enhancements
+ Work with Continent business leaders
+ Provide operational input into Amadeus PMS and cross-PMS enhancement designs to ensure operational requirements are met effectively.
+ Lead PMS impacting projects from the operational/business perspective
+ Supports development and maintenance of PMS knowledge, MGS pages, and other documentation
+ Communicates concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand
+ Works with continent teams to draft communications regarding PMS impacts and enhancements
+ Partner with IT organization to provide operational input into support process and ensure process is in place to manage business requests from hotels
+ Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
