    How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

     

    Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for DevOps Engineers in Atlanta, GA.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead the creation, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of complex automation jobs to support Delta Marketing Operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability on SAS, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Adobe Experience Platform. Oversee the successful deployment of integrated or stand-alone releases into SAS and Salesforce Marketing Cloud production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and robust rollback procedures.

    + Proactively monitor SAS, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Outlook for alerts, troubleshoot issues, and restore services promptly, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Mentor junior DevOps engineers, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and knowledge in DevOps practices and tools.

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives in DevOps processes and practices, staying updated with Marketing Technology industry trends and technologies.

    + Ensure data quality standards and maintain data governance standards by building and managing Data Extensions and Data Relationships in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

    + Provide sentiment analysis on Marketing Campaigns using Python.

    + Develop and maintain the ability for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SFTP and AWS s3 buckets.

    + Perform script and automation reviews to ensure code is following best practices.

    + Telecommuting permitted two days per week.

     

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

     

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years of programming experience.

    Must have coursework or work experience in:

    + Creating real-time integrations using API between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Teradata, SAS, AEP, and AWS;

    + Automating the transfer of large data files to internal and external systems via SFTP and s3;

    + Developing and configuring journeys, automated workflows, and email campaigns within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud;

    + Monitoring system health and ensuring automated jobs are running without failure and assisting in outage recovery when they do fail; and

    + Collaborating with internal stakeholders to create SAS, Python, and SQL scripts that automate email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
