Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented **Environmental Manager** to join our growing team! In this role, you will be the central lead in overseeing and mitigating risks associated with the full program scope of a large-scale, multi-billion-dollar complex infrastructure construction project. We are seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team that is dedicated to supporting a large government customer in successfully delivering on a significant infrastructure project central to the United States’ border security programs. This individual will be responsible for managing environmental staff and subcontractors; coordinating with the client and stakeholders; overseeing the preparation of environmental protection plans; and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

In our anticipated role, Parsons will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services including Program Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Progress Reporting, Construction Quality Assurance, Safety, and other supporting services to achieve program success.

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Lead and oversee the implementation of environmental management systems across all phases of the program.

+ Oversee the development and implementation of environmental management plans, ensuring full integration into construction methodologies and project execution plans.

+ Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory agencies, municipalities, and other stakeholders.

+ Environmental staff management: Oversee Senior Environmental Specialists and other environmental staff, including environmental compliance inspectors, per region.

+ Audit, analyze, and report environmental performance indicators to Parsons management and relevant authorities, recommending corrective and preventive actions.

+ Environmental oversight: Deal with the administration of obtaining federal, state, and local approvals and permits for the government and construction contractors.

+ Reports: Compile environmental metrics for the environmental portion of the monthly report and dashboards, and compile and publish environmental reports for the Client.

+ Meeting Minutes: Ensure meeting minutes are prepared that capture environmental approvals, concerns, and decisions by regulatory agencies, Contractors, and other stakeholders.

+ Other Duties: Miscellaneous other environmental assignments as requested by the Parsons Program Manager.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline with at least 15 years relevant experience.

+ Proven expertise in regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination.

+ Proven track record in developing and implementing environmental management programs for complex, multidisciplinary environments.

+ Deep familiarity with environmental standards, procedures, and approval processes.

+ Experience coordinating with authorities and clients on environmental permitting and construction compliance monitoring.

+ Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required.

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
