    Position: Research Coordinator

     

    Department: Institutional Effectiveness

     

    Reports to: Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness

     

    Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

     

    Deadline to Apply: December 1, 2025 at 4:00p.m.

    Responsibilities:

    + Oversee the extraction and compilation of data and publication of college-wide reports such as, but not limited to, the annual Fact Book and Service Area County Profiles.

    + Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, data analysis, accreditation, and project tracking software.

    + Produce visually appealing reports or presentations for the department as needed.

    + Perform descriptive or thematic analysis of data available to the department.

    + Learn and use software platforms for surveying, conducting, planning, and outcome assessment functions, updating the college catalog, or other departmental functions.

    + Perform file management and storage, process office transactions according to college specifications, maintain timelines of routine tasks, take meeting minutes, assist with events involving the AA/IE division, and assist with overall office organization.

    + Create and maintain a filing system for accreditation and special project files.

    + Assist in the use and maintenance of a web-based site used for sharing information with other college stakeholders.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    + Two (2) years related work experience.

     

    Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + One (1) to two (2) years of work experience in a higher education setting.

    + Advanced skills with technology and data analysis.

    + Work experience in research, institutional effectiveness, or quality assurance.
