Reports to: Profit Center Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Experience and competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
+ Knowledge of general accounting principles
+ Fluent in English both orally and in writing
+ Basic bookkeeping knowledge
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
+ High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
+ Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
+ High level of organization
+ High attention to detail
+ Ability and willingness to gain knowledge of electrical products and their functions
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
+ Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or a Bachelor’s degree
+ Purchasing experience
Working Conditions:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
+ This position operates in an office environment which requires sitting and working at a computer workstation for extended periods.

Essential Job Functions:
+ Check all vendor invoices and prepare them for processing
+ Create all direct sales registers
+ Create debit memos for returns
+ Develop understanding of CED accounts
+ Check costing on all special-order sales registers
+ Assist in specified areas of Accounts Receivable
+ File records in the appropriate files
+ Research vendor statements monthly
+ Sales Register and Cash Sale Receipt Accountability
+ Control office supplies
+ Control record retention
+ Answer telephones

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $22 to $25 hourly.
