    You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.

     

    **Position Purpose:** This intern will work on Engagement & Council Planning & Communications, Benchmarking & Innovation Repository, and Comms Channel Enhancements.

    Duties:

    + Conduct internal and external benchmarking of internal communications practices, especially in healthcare and remote-first environments.

    + Build a repository of innovative ideas with estimated lead time and support requirements.

    + Support monthly engagement packets and CS&P Week kickoff planning.

    + Assist with Business Unit Council communications and planning.

    + Draft materials/repository for CS&P Week, monthly engagement packets and DEI comms

    + Prototype and test new newsletter/email formats.

    + Assist in development of Mission Moment video repository

    + Audit SharePoint Hub content, identify needed updates, recommend enhancements and support buildout of additional Department sites/pages.

    Skills:

    + Strong writing skills

    + Research and synthesis of information/data

    + Analytical

    + Experience in digital content creation, video editing tools, and survey platforms

    + Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint

    **Education/Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in Communications, Organizational Psychology, Public Health, Business Analytics, or a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

     

    Pay Range: $18-26/hour

     

    Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field, or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
