Job Summary:

We are seeking a hospitalist to join our established team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Strong interest in inpatient medicine

+ 1+ years hospitalist experience a plus

+ Interest in teaching/working with internal medicine residents

+ Must have excellent clinical and communication skills

+ Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine

Hospitalist Program Information:

+ 10 and 12 hour physician shifts

+ 18-20 patient visits/day for each hospitalist

+ Dedicated nocturnists

+ Closed ICU

+ No procedures required

+ 24/7 full-service ER with 2 freestanding ERs

+ 24/7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program

+ Internal medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry GME residency programs with Tufts University affiliation
