Job Summary and Qualifications
The Business Analyst is a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of research operations. The analyst builds relationships with division leaders and HRI executives to understand thoroughly the business strategies and problems and identify opportunities for improvements. The analyst reviews, analyzes, evaluates, and audit business processes, systems, and user needs and collaborates with all stakeholders in order to recommend system and business process modifications to support business strategies.
The Business Analyst must be able to work with the business to identify and prioritize the underlying business needs and requirements. The analyst will work with the team to ensure business requirements and priorities are understood and high-quality solutions are provided. The analyst will also help identify and mitigate project risks with specific studies and sponsor agreements.
Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Current processes include, but are not limited to, producing monthly Power BI reporting of operational statistics and financial performance, producing and analyzing monthly and weekly tracking of study enrollments, and highlighting bottlenecks and successes in the Study Activation process.
+ Prepare power slides to include operational charts, graphs, statistics and financial performance as required.
+ Creating new automated processes and databases, working with the business owner to streamline activities.
+ Enhancing current processes and databases to incorporate additional needs as they arise.
+ Utilizing statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports.
+ Evaluating operational techniques, budgets, programs, and practices to ensure maximum economic operation.
+ Interpreting data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts.
+ Managing multiple on-going projects and preparing presentations of findings and recommendations.
+ Assists with preliminary business case drafts for new potential research locations and/or service lines, including a draft pro forma and productivity, for review by HRI management, Service Line, Division, and PSG leadership
+ With direction, present data formally and informally and facilitate discussion regarding data outputs
+ Provide moderate analysis and ad hoc operational reports as requested
+ Coordinate communication and operation reporting efforts between the finance and accounting departments.
+ Prepare monthly analysis and audits by reviewing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for impact on financial data.

+ During your employment with HRI you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.
+ Maintain strictest confidentiality to ensure that privileged and/or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded against disclosure.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field required
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field preferred
• Minimum of one-year previous analytical business experience required
