Job Summary:

Reston Hospital Center is seeking cardiothoracic surgeons to support Northern Virginia’s newest adult cardiothoracic surgery program just outside of Washington D.C. in the fast-growing and highly desirable community of Reston, VA.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US

+ Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia

+ Board certified or board eligible

+ 5+ year of experience required; exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered

+ Superb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaboration

+ Experience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement (including TAVR and mitral)

+ Experience in open and endovascular aortic procedures

+ Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures

+ Capable of doing complex cases in independent settings
